So I had my hair color "retouched" because the roots were starting to grow and my hair was 1/4 black hair and 3/4 brownish hair. Unfortunately, I didn't expect the outcome to be brighter than what I had hoped for.

Oh well, I just have to wait a few weeks before the color starts to darken again. In the meantime, here is Derpina with long hair.

Okay, so our guild leader has asked me to create an emblem for our guild, Affliction for Philippine Ragnarok Online - New Loki Server. I have no idea what to make!

So first thing I did, I searched google for "Skulls" and made up something out of it. Not really satisfied with my work, but oh well, I guess these will do for now.

Funniest Filipino Film -- EVER! I had to literally catch my breath because of so laughing so much, especially with the "Switch" scene, Dora had to switch from being Kimmy to herself and back. LOL.
I can watch it over and over again, and I still laugh.

And so one of my characters in the private server, Essence Ragnarok Online is named Kimmy Dora. I decided to make my sig using the two characters of Eugene Domingo in this Movie: Kimmy and Dora. Hope you like it!

The name of my character is Anabelle Rama, hence the name. For everyone's information, Anabelle Rama is a popular figure in the Philippines. She is mother to former Miss World Runner-up Ruffa Gutierrez and hunk actor Richard Gutierrez. She is always known for her fierceness and her being a "Bisaya" in Showbusiness.

Loading Screen Contest: Valentine Theme

The Ragnarok server I joined held another Loading Screen Contest for the month of February -- Just in time for the season of hearts. I really wanted to learn how to make chibi art, so I attempted to make loading screens and thus, I joined the contest. Again, the theme was anything related to Ragnarok and to Valentine season. Here are my entries:

This is the first loading screen I made. Cthulhu is my favorite MVP (no idea why), so I was inspired to make him all lovey-dovey for Valentines. I think I did pretty well with the characters, but over-all, this wallpaper lacked texture and depth. I could have added more scales to the Mermaid's fins, or more shadows and highlights, or more details to the undersea background.

Again, because Cthulhu is my favorite MVP, I made another wallpaper with him on it. This time, I experimented on shadows to add more depth, but I'm not really good at it. I think I made it look too cute -- and too plain.

This is probably one of the most time-consuming wallpapers I've ever made -- and from scratch too. I spent a lot of time working on the blacksmith, trying to get as much detail as I can. I think I did fairly well, but I've still got a long way to go. I love how this turned out to be so cutesy, and I also love the concept -- a regular character falling in love with an MVP. LOL. This entry won, and I got an event token for it. Yippee!

Finally, my last entry to the loading screen contest. I spent too much time working on the character (I found it really difficult to build this, I tell you), that I barely had time to work on the background and everything else. As a result, it's too simple, too plain, and too common. I thought this was my best work to date, but I guess it looked as if I didn't pour that much effort on it.

Again, if you're planning to play a mid-rate private server, please do join EssenceRO. It's a pretty balanced server with 3rd jobs and fun quests. And the community there is very helpful. Just drop by and PM my character, Anabelle Rama. =)

Loading Screen Contest

Last Christmas, I gave you my heart. Riighht. Just Kidding. What I meant to say is, last christmas, I joined a Loading Screen Contest organized by the GM's (Game Masters) of a Ragnarok Online Private Server I've joined. The theme was anything related to Ragnarok Online and to Christmas. I made some attempts, and here are the designs I came up with:

First ever attempt at chibi drawing, and at making it into a digital design. What I did was make a rough sketch on paper, scanned it and made some adjustments. I was never satisfied with this, so I never got to submit this. Lol.

Poooringgss!! Who doesn't love porings? So I made a Christmas tree out of the poring family. Who said drawing porings was a breeze? For an amateur like me, I found it really difficult, especially in getting the right texture and shadows. Well guess what, this entry won! I won an event ticket for this, and I got myself a Mario Cap. Whoo-hoo!

I tried to make a chibi character of my archbishop, but I found it to be pretty difficult. The result: A half-baked elf who doesn't know how to pose. LOL. I did try to make it more interesting by making designs for the background, and I was a bit satisfied with my work. But in the end, this wasn't chosen by the judges at all.

Finally! I was able to find the long lost sigs I made during Ragnarok Days -- those were the days I got less sleep because of my addiction to that game. Without further adieu, here they are:

Sig I made for my daughter-in-law (in-game), Carm. Up to now, this is still my fave sig. :)

I made this for Elliel, one of the resident Whitesmiths of the guild. FYI, he's also our Tocino Man.

Angelpam is known as "Oracle's Hottest" because she has boys wrapped around her little fingers.

My first three characters ever in Loki server.

My other characters named after Neil Gaiman's The Endless: -destiny-, desire*, -despair-, -delirium-, and :d:r:e:a:m:. The last character is named after my first name, 'NataLie.

Personal Sigs: Bone and Ios101

These are a new set of DotA sigs I made for my good friends:

This sig is for Hector, who is also known as Bone. Why? I think it's because he always uses Bone Clinkz whenever he plays DotA. Hehe.

These sigs are for Lester (a.k.a. ios101 in-game). I am not satisfied with both my works (*sob*) so I'm planning to make another one. He wanted to have Pandaren the Brewmaster in his sig because he says it's his favorite (although I haven't seen him use it yet...).

This is a valentine sig I sent to my friends (both DotA and non-DotA players). It's Terrorblade and Mortred looking like lovers hehe. And the quote says in English: "I'm ready to exchange my life for you." If you're a DotA player, you'll know that this is Terrorblade's skill, Sunder.

Crazy Love

I made this sig as an entry to the MonstersGame forum Signature of the Week contest, where the theme is "the crazy little thing called love." The first thing that entered my mind when I saw the theme was the movie My Sassy Girl. The story is about a somewhat crazy girl who drives this guy insane, but in the end they find out that they do have feelings for each other, and that somehow, destiny found a way for them to meet again. The original is Korean, but it has been re-made by the Americans. I suggest you watch the Korean version because it's much better, and funnier too! So anyway, here's the sig I made:

Because I've been fond of the transparent background (and I got really jealous of the sig I made for my lil bro Crystys), I made one for myself! =) First, I looked for an image of a really cute girl and found a wonderful piece by Amiza on Deviantart. Then I cleaned it up, edited to take the background off, and added some stuff to make the entire sig. And of course I added my in-game name "Soifon" to make it complete, because I'll be using this at the MonstersGame forum.

Anime Sigs: Bleach

I made these sigs for my lil bro Crystys using Byakuya Kuchiki, one of the captains of the Gotei 13 in the popular manga/anime Bleach.

I experimented with using a transparent background and I kind of liked how it turned out:

Unfortunately, Crystys told me that this sig isn't allowed in the forum he's going to use it for because the height is over 150 pixels. So I made another one without the transparent background but instead used some effects to make it look like animated sakura leaves. This is because Byakuya's shikai (sword release) is called Senbonzakura, which makes his sword dissolve into tiny pieces like sakura leaves. Beautiful, but really deadly:

I made this banner because of a request from my MG Little Bro, Crystys. This is his character from server 3 (i think?) and he wanted to put this up in his character/clan page. I merged the casual pictures of Hitsugaya Toshiro and Zaraki Kenpachi with their fighting "evil" stances as backgrounds. Also I chose blue for Toshiro because of his zanpakuto (hyourinmaru), and orange for Kenpachi because of his "aura."

I made these sigs after finding really nifty Dota images. And also I made them for two of my late-night gaming buddies: the neutral-creep farmer Mega.Rock and the super-late-gamer Impulze.

The hero on the sig is Magina the Anti-Mage. I couldn't find a decent picture of Spectre the Mercurial -- the hero Mega.Rock always uses especially when it comes to KS'ing.

The hero on the sig is Terrorblade the Soul Keeper. He is Impulze's favorite hero, and as expected, the late gamer is Beyond Godlike when using him.

I made this sig because Silent Death showed me a real cool set of Bleach pics from one great artist. I decided to make a Yoruichi sig because... Well, nobody really payed attention to her that much. :-/ There are lots of Ichigo and Abarai and Toshiro and Byakuya sigs out there, but Yoruichi seems to be the neglected one (and it's sad!). Also because she's Silent Death's fave girl character from Bleach. =)

Back when I was still addicted to Philippine Ragnarok Online (pRO), my hobby was to make sigs for my guildmates. I was a member of the guild "Oracle" in Loki server. I made this sig for my guildmate in pRO - Loki server. Her character is a priestess and she's known as the "hottest" in our guild.

My officemates and I addicted to the Warcraft III game called DotA (Defense of the Ancients). One of them is sooooo fond of using the hero, Yurnero the Juggernaut and he has requested me to make him a sig. So this one's for you!

Similar style to my Soifon sig with the same animation as my Kurosaki Ichigo sig. =) He also wanted his name to be included in the sig to make it more personal.

Here are my first attempts in making userbars. I've seen a lot of these around, especially in the forums I'm visiting so I decided to try making one! Usually the userbars are personalized depending on what the user likes or plays or visits or is a fan of. And I'm surprised that making these userbars are actually very easy!

This is for my MonstersGame account, which obviously identifies me as a member of the [x] Elite Wolves clan in UK Server 4 of the game.

Lucifer Morningstar is the main character of the popular DC Comics entitled Lucifer, a spin-off of Neil Gaiman's The Sandman. In The Sandman, Lucifer is described as the wisest, most beautiful, and most powerful of all angels in Heaven. He then abandons Hell after ten billion years and retires to Earth.

On Earth, this sophisticated and charming man runs a piano bar. But beneath his charisma, Lucifer is a deadly character: no regard for human life or anything but himself. He does, however, follow a "code of conduct" by refusing to lie or insisting on paying back debts or keeping his word.

And because my good friend loves this character so much, I made him a sig:

I made this sig based on the request of a member of the MG User Forum. His character name is Luchien and he is a wolf.

I searched for the wolf image on DeviantArt, and the fonts I used are Shadow Germanica for the name, and Solemnity for the subtitle.

As I mentioned in my earlier post, I am a big fan of the eye-brow man Rock Lee. Thus, I created a sig just for him! I also made this as an entry for MG Forum's Signature of the Week (SOTW) but sadly, it didn't capture the hearts of the members haha. Oh well, enjoy Lee's crane-style lotus whatever technique!

Oh also since the Akatsuki arc has started, I've been curious as to who Pain (sometimes Pein) is and what his abilities are. Plus, I found a really cool image of him on DeviantArt so... Voila!

While browsing the net for some cutesy- lovesy images, I came across these two images. Unfortunately, I have NO idea as to which anime series they are from...

I like this image because the crying guy just makes my heart melt <3>
Also I hate it when two people in love have to part ways... It's just too painful.

This image I like because it reminds me so much of my high school days... Where teenagers are just starting to explore the concept of love... and that it's so cute when they blush.

Here's another set of Anime Sigs from the popular series, Bleach. I actually made these for my clanmates in one of the games I'm currently addicted to: MonstersGame. I used to play in 3 different servers but because of my work, I have decided to just concentrate on Server 4. Come visit me if you'd like! ^__^

Anyway, I'm a member of a clan of Werewolves, and three of my mates (plus me, and another one who changes names between Hitsugaya Toshiro and Crystys and Toshiro) have names from the Bleach series: Kurosaki Ichigo, Grimmjaw, Zaraki Kenpachi (retired). So I got inspired to make them sigs when I read the Arrancar arc of the manga (more kick a$$ fighting happens yahoo!).

Kurosaki Ichigo: My favorite sig! The black with the eyes background looks so nasty! In contrast to the person behind the character who is very gentle and sweet.

Zarake Kenpachi: I made this almost the same time as I made the Zaraki Kenpachi sig. That's because I found really cool fonts hehe

Anime Sigs: Death Note

I found a cool picture of Misa Amane and Light Yagami of the famous anime/manga, Death Note, from DeviantArt and decided to make an animated sig out of it. I used this as a sig for one of the Philippine Ragnarok Online message boards with the name "Despair" on it (My account name is despair ^^).

Personally, I like Light's "stalker" effect on the sig haha. Oh and btw, please let me know who the original creator of the image is so I may give them the proper credits. I made this sig a long time ago and I didn't take note of who the original artist is (Gomenasai -_-).

Personal Sigs: Cent

I made a sig for my good friend, Cent, for a local Philippine Ragnarok Online - Loki Server forum. He wanted to stress the fact that "Respect is earned" and not bought. And that even if you struggle or even suffer just to earn that respect, then that is enough and is most honorable.

The image I used is from the famous Japanese artist, Falcoon (Tatsuhiko Kanaoka).

I found a really cute picture of Sasuke from the popular Anime/Manga, Naruto. (Forgive me for not noting who the image came from, and please do let me know if you have an idea who the creator of the image is so I can properly give him/her credit ^^) So I created a Sasuke sig despite the fact that I am not a fan of his. Hehe. Sorry Sasuke fans but my heart goes to Rock Lee!

I'm a big fan of Bleach, most especially of the captain of the Shinigami 2nd Division: Soi Fon (also called Soifon or Soi Fong or Soifong sometimes). In fact, I named my character in one of the games I'm playing (MonstersGame) based on her. I also made some sigs for myself, in the forums that I often visit. The username I often use is "patsilog," thus most of my sigs have a mini-"patsilog" sign somewhere. ^^

These sigs were created especially for my good friend, Bok (who goes by the name boknoyTM in TipidPC). He asked me to create a sig for him with a thumbs-up sign from any Bleach or Naruto character, and I found these two amazing pictures (search Google, you'll get a lot!). I couldn't decide which one to use, so I gave him 2 sigs instead. ^^

Welcome to SigMachine!

In this blog, I will be posting my art works, more specifically, the sigs I've created for various forum. What exactly is a "sig," you ask?

Sig is the shortcut for SIGNATURE. Wiki describes it as: a block of text automatically appended at the bottom of an e-mail message, Usenet article, or forum post. But sigs aren't limited to text only. More often, users put images, icons, or logos on their signatures.

Making sigs has been a hobby since time immemorial. I've been so hooked to creating sigs for my friends, online buddies, or for those who don't know how to make one. Each time I see a cool picture, I often get inspired to make a sig out of it.

So this blog will be dedicated to all my works. Feel free to use any of my sigs, but please do ask for permission.
